The Wild Country Pro Guide Lite is a lightweight belay device which has been trimmed down to eliminate any excess material. It has been engineered well and feeds and locks with ease. The ribbed rope grooves add extra friction allowing for a rope diameter range of between 7.7mm and 11mm. As the name suggests it can also be used in guide mode which works brilliantly for bringing up followers. The larger 'release slot' allows for a carabiner to be used making things easier under load.
