Despite what you might think, daisy chains are not a string of small flowers. Daisy chains are a type of sling mainly designed for big walling and should only be used for static loads.
It's important to note that daisy chains are only full strength when clipped end-to-end. However there are a number of specialist models which are much stronger, this is because each loop is individually sewn and these are suitable for use as belay systems when sport and trad climbing.
