Ocun
The Ocun story begins in 1988 when Pavel Hendrych started making harnesses at home. His main tool is his grandmother's sewing machine, and his materials are mostly decommissioned brake parachutes from the Czechoslovak Air Force. A couple of years later Pavel's hobby starts getting more serious. He quits his day job and goes full-time. Since then the Ocun range has rapidly expanded to include hardware, boulder pads, climbing shoes, carabiners, chalk, and much more. Fast forward to 2015 and Ocun doesnt just make its own goods, they make soft goods for some other renowned climbing brands.
