Boasting a lightweight, the Petzl Summit is designed with a head and spike that deliver fantastic anchor performance, as well as holes to clip a carabiner or attach a sling.
The tip of the pick is toothed for improved purchase on hard ice, whilst its middle section is thicker to improve its work in soft snow. The upper part of the Summit's spike is curved, this offers the necessary clearance for steep ice; whilst it can be used in piolet-canne or piolet-rampe mode as well as in piolet-traction mode on short, steep sections.
