The Grivel Trigger is a finger support for ice axes. Available in two sizes yellow is Small: Narrow fit - up to 18cm x 26mm tube. Fits narrow tubes like the older Yellow-handled axes like the Taa-K-oon. Black is Large: Standard fit - 21cm x 32mm tube, which is most axes (designed for black-handled axes like the Grivel Wing Series), fits most other ice axes on the market.
Accessory mountable directly on the shaft, adjustable in height, the forefinger rests on it to give a bit more directional control and maximises effort on hard cascade. It can also be used as an upper hand rest if fitted higher up the shaft. Secures with nut and bolt (not uber easy to fit).
