Lightweight and technical the North Machine is an alpinists dream tool for high-level mountaineering, alpinism, north faces as well as cascades. The shaft is T rated, constructed from G Bone shape aluminium, for extra rigidity at low weight. Featuring the interchangeable Vario system and coming fitted with the hot forged Ice + blade with either a hammer or adze, which are removeable and replaceble. The whole head can also be easily switched for Grivel's mixed blade for Scottish winter conditions. The weight distribution of the North Machine facilitates the blades use even on high altitude hard ice and gives the hammer excellent striking efficiency.
