The La Sportiva company, which was started in the 20's, originally hand-crafted clogs and leather boots for lumberjacks and farmers. Over the years they have expanded into the development of footwear for a range of outdoor activities. In the 80's they started to develop climbing shoes, which have now become a huge success.
