The FIXE Climbing Ferratum Cinchless is a seriously smart bit of kit — the first via ferrata lanyard with FIXE’s patented Cinchless system, meaning it clips to your harness without crushing it. That keeps your belay loop free and cuts down on that annoying swing if you fall. It’s got a new squared absorber made from tough HMPE that drops the weight from 180.5 g to just 123.9 g, and it’s 38% smaller too. With stretchy PES arms (75–128 cm) and colour-coded aluminium carabiners with double-locking gates, this setup is light, compact, and totally dialled for any route or park line.
Details:
- Does not constrict the harness Unlike traditional lanyards, the Cinchless system connects directly to the tie-in points (waist and leg loops) instead of the belay loop. This avoids harness compression in case of a fall, improving comfort and reducing the risk of hip injury.
- Reduces pendulum effect By minimizing the distance between the lanyard and the harness, unnecessary swinging is eliminated, offering better stability and comfort during activity.
- Free belay loop The belay loop remains completely available to attach other devices, such as the Manso, or perform maneuvers without interference.
