Lapis was started by Aljoša Grom in 1991. In these early stages, they had just one line of climbing holds, however they rapidly developed into one of Europe best-known hold manufacturers.
Today, with over 800 different designs, climbing holds and structures remain the core of their business, however, they have also developed other resin-based training aids in addition to accessories such as brushes and a small line of clothing.
