The La Sportiva Mega Ice Evo is La Sportiva's take into the world of racing crampons. Blending a climbing shoe and mountaineering boot, this waterproof, insulated and lightweight entry into Sportiva's range pushes the boundaries of what is possible in the Alpine world.
Its slipper construction is designed just like a traditional climbing shoe, to minimize weight, and maximize maneuverability and agility. Its Carbon Antiflexion midsole makes the shoe highly rigid and stiff and is ideal for vertical ice climbing.
Alongside this, the Mega Ice Evo is highly insulating. Its water-repellent Schoeller® Dynamic material is bonded to a waterproof, insulated membrane, this helps to achieve the lowest possible weight and keep the elements at bay.
