The Edelrid Starling Protect Pro Dry 8.2mm is a half / twin made for a longer lifespan when alpine climbing in rugged terrain. Protect Technology features a thicker sheath and aramid fibres that increase the abrasion resistance of the rope's sheath. This means it's less likely to fluff and tear when running over jagged rock and sharp edges. A great choice if you find your ropes need replacing sooner than you'd like.
