The Black Diamond Apex Gaiter is a 3-layer GORE-TEX gaiter for maximum protection against moisture whilst ice climbing, mountaineering, and skiing. The 600-denier double-layer abrasion-guard prevents rips and tears from contact with crampons and ski edges, and a neoprene coated instep keeps the gaiter securely and firmly in place.
